The Harn Homestead Museum offers two and three-hour field trip programming to public and private schools as well as homeschool networks of 15 or more students and monthly homeschool days that allow individual family registrations. Included in the programming are hands-on activities in an 1800's Schoolhouse, a turn of the century Dairy Barn, a Farmhouse, and the gardens. Cost is $8 per students, educators are free. The National Cowboy Western & Heritage Museum is America's premier institution of Western history, art and culture. Founded in 1955, the museum in Oklahoma City collects, preserves and exhibits an internationally renowned collection of Western art and artifacts while sponsoring dynamic educational programs to stimulate interest in the enduring legacy of our American West. The Oklahoma City Zoo is a fully accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the American Association of Museums as both a living museum and a botanical garden. The Zoo participates in numerous cooperative Species Survival Plan projects and is dedicated to the conservation of rare and endangered wildlife.
